My Day Went Great
Doing Housework oh what fun
It takes forever to get it done!
Doing yard work what a joy
I think I'll hire a little boy!
Doing dishes, cooking meals,
Where did I get such red-hot deals?
Dusting, mending, washing floors
Doorbells ringing at both my doors.
My children yelling, "Mom come quick,
There's a man here, who's name is Dick."
The lawnmower breaks,
I burn the steaks.
What else could go wrong?
Please "Where is this suppose to belong?"
Dad arrives an hour late,
People show up from out of state
Me a mess,
In my old torn and ragged housedress.
Great it ain't,
I think I'll faint,
"Come on Honey," liven up.
Take a sip from my coffee cup.
Running around from room to room,
Has left me in a dismal gloom.
I say hello to our guests,
Put on music to their requests.
Run upstairs to change my dress,
So I don't look such a mess.
After an hour or so,
The company just has to go!
Hurray I say in such away!
Cause now it's time for me to finally hit the hay!!!!
For I want sleep cause I'm so tired.
And if you don't like it, YOU'RE FIRED!!!!
