Hello boys and girls, I’m Pipo the clown.
What’s that over there, do I see a frown?
Come here little man, come show me your face.
A frown at the circus, now that’s a disgrace.
Tell me young man, what is your name?
The cat’s got your tongue - well aint that a shame.
Please don’t be afraid, I really don’t bite.
Under the big top, a frown’s just not right.
Life is too short to feel angry or sad.
So put on a smile, things won’t seem as bad.
Well, what’s that I see - a fair dinkum grin?
Isn’t that better? Now, let this show begin.
Let’s skip rope together, oops, here I go.
Tripping and falling, bang, over I go.
Now you are laughing - when I am in pain?
I don't think I'll ever stand up again!
As a happy clown, I do things in jest.
But each day I thank God I’ve been blessed,
with this special gift to make people laugh,
to relieve their sadness on His behalf.
My new little friend, give me a big smile.
You’ll feel much better in a little while.
Just like a clown, put on your happy face.
The world will soon seem a much happier place.
