Lacy ballerinas drift softly on a breath of air Winter's diaphanous dusting decorates lawn Writing Prompt Write a Septolet - a seven-line poem consisting of fourteen words broken into two parts. Both parts deal with the same thought and create a picture. Recognized Author Notes When I wrote this poem I thought of a poem I had posted here on January 29,2008 called,"Ballerina of Snow~ Cascade Art #1" I wanted to create a new form of shape poem. I wanted my poem to create a REAL picture. Because,I thought the poem was more than just a shape, I changed the name to Cascade Poetry then to Designer. Because my poetry had become artwork I asked Tom if I could also post the poem on Fan Art. Tom told me if it was artwork to go right ahead and post it. I thought "Ballerina of Snow" would be the perfect artwork for "Diaphanous Dusting". This is my first attempt at writing a Septolet Poem. I hope you enjoy the poetic art and the new poem beneath.
