When I read your words of prose
And tell you did great,
When I offer words of kindness
Never do we find debate.
Words of encouragement I offer,
Your poems I say divine,
So why the dagger to my chest
When asked to speak of mine?
A quiet no would work as well,
A simple skip would do.
Asked about my sense of humor,
Of this you have no clue.
The question that I ponder now
Is if you're friend or foe?
Are you really there for me?
If not, then simply go.
Who are you?
and . . . Who am I?

Author Notes
It is I, a bewildered writer!
Sometimes we start friendships, only to be reminded, we don't know the person on the other side of the screen. They don't know you either except what you or he has been willing to share. It's a big wide world....Today I hope to smile at all my friends and thank them for what they do for me. Special hugs I send to those who let me lean on them, if only from afar. Smiles to all! I wish you happy writing and reviewing and a great day!
