Your love, like the moon, go from light to shadow darken by your doubts lighten by your smile. ≈♦≈ I come to devour  your ripe peaches mouth, sweet wine breast, cocoon silk thighs, and the sea between your legs. ≈♦≈ From the break of day,  when the moon wanes, and dawn bells fade into stillness, creeks stop and bow  to your beauty and laughter. ≈♦≈ As you lie  on my shepherd blanket by the riverbed I offer you my love  my heart, my soul, my life, again and again.         Author Notes Painting by Albert Jansz van der Schoor 16th century Free Verse about a shepherd and his lover Thank you for reading my poem.
