Today, I woke up buzzing with excitement. “Honey, how’s my beard? Does it need a trim? And can you grab my boots and belt?” I called out.

Mrs. Claus smiled, her eyes twinkling. “I can’t believe we’re doing this together!”

Mr. and Mrs. Claus were preparing for the most extraordinary night in history—one that even outshone Santa’s first Christmas Eve.

This wasn’t just about delivering presents. Every child in the world had been invited to a celestial gathering beyond imagination. An invite had magically appeared at every child's household announcing the event. Strangely, no parent could say no. It was as though their hearts whispered, Yes, this is what Christmas is meant to be.

For years, Santa had been dreaming of this moment. He’d reached out to Jesus with a bold idea: what if they joined forces for one incredible night to show children the true meaning of the season? Jesus, delighted, had agreed instantly.

Special outfits arrived at every household, perfectly tailored for each child. Elves worked tirelessly to create gifts that mirrored every child’s deepest wish.

Finally, the night arrived. Santa and Jesus stood side by side under the sparkling expanse of heaven, welcoming the children with open arms. Every boy and girl floated through the air, their dreams of flying coming true.

As Santa handed out gifts, Jesus shared His story—the heart of Christmas. The children’s laughter mingled with awe as they felt peace, joy, and love like never before.

It was a night to remember—a union of magic and faith, of giving and grace. And as the stars glittered above, every heart—big and small—was filled with the wonder of what Christmas was truly all about.

Author Notes
I was trying to think of what would be an exciting and different Christmas story. I thought about how cool it would be to have Santa and Jesus together with all the children instead of Santa, always having to be so sneaky.
As a parent, I didn't have a lot of money when my kids were younger. I really didn't want to have any presents from Santa or give him the credit. We also would make a happy birthday Jesus cake. Some parents won't have anything to do with Jesus and some parents don't have anything to do with Santa.
