Alma moved out of town. Singledom was her new status since her break-up with Josh. Josh, too, felt disorientated, obliged to seek out new connections at forty plus.   A sense of inner peace slowly began to manifest for Alma as she revisited Buddhist practices. Josh had always scoffed at spiritual solutions.   Months later, while meditating at the temple, she saw him, Josh, arrayed in his saffron robes. She was surprised that her bruised  heart remembered how to skip a beat.   Writing Prompt Write a complete story in 80 words or less. The theme is 'Surprise.'
