Excellent Spring time joy Spring Is Here by Lana Marie Poem for Spring writing prompt entry

Could it be my favorite season? So excited for that very reason! Green landscapes start to appear, Joyful chirping in my ear. Beauty begins all around, fresh bright colors can be found. Children laughing as they're playing, Winter blues we all be slaying. Winter sticks around too long, belonging in a country song.  Time to enjoy the fresh spring air, on the porch on a rocking chair.  This is the season I hold so dear, A time of refreshing, year after year. Writing Prompt Write a poem for spring. You can not use the words: flower, buds, blossoms, rain, new. Author Notes Spring is truly my favorite season. Winters get so long in Minnesota, so the first signs of Spring are a welcome delight! Kids start playing outside again in the neighborhood, birds singing and flower sightings!
