Gather 'round, dear fam'ly and friends,
you're welcome to our table;
please join hands, let us thank the Lord
this holiday we're able
to share all our love and good food
at this Thanksgiving repast,
and pray the blessings that we share,
through the coming year, will last.
Let us also pray for all those
not as lucky as we are
that God will keep them safe from harm
whether they are near or far.
For health, food, friends, and family,
a roof above, comfy beds;
for all God's generosity,
we give thanks and bow our heads.
