sleep my baby
little piece of my soul
my heart rejoices
full of mother’s love
sweet dreams await
in the clouds above
.
my little angel
I know you want to sleep
but the sky is full of stars
and the naughty moon
wants to play with you
amidst comets dressed in blue

Author Notes
Inspired by Spanish Lullabies, some are sweet; and others are scary, usually about the boogie man. Today I posted a *Lullaby One* and a *Lullaby Two*, they are opposites.
Free verse with scattered near rhymes.
