November is here with its chaos and strain
Media hype for political gain
promises made votes to retain
which of the two is better?
I'm in no position to judge this time
is selling yourself such a crime?
do we spend the worth of dollar or dime
to regain experience or trust the other
We are no better in the land of the kangaroo
the country is swaying economically too
do we eat steak or humble stew
poverty in itself is nothing new
our media in its inane state
complies with the rules yet hesitates
there is proof of lies and retaliates
sensing they got it wrong
Our leader is a liar too
a social misfit is nothing new
in representing a country, what do you do
to make it strong again
there is always divided opinion here
more criticism than heartfelt cheer
politics does not cause me a tear
except when we judge folk too harshly
