the celestial grave

rises its black veil

to hide the dawn

~♦~

what will I do for the land?

the nests are on the boughs

waiting for the light

~♦~

the melancholic night

is dripping diamond rain

of moon and stars

~♦~

what will I do for him?

~♦~

I'll never feel

his twilight eyes

or taste his sweet mouth

~♦~

because he's gone
