Sometimes there is no right or wrong,
but simply why we write our song.
As Mary sat she chose to hear
those lyrics heard were wise and clear.
Young Martha slaved and raised a storm
'cause Mary learned true wisdom's form.
The Lord said, "Martha, have no fear,
you are concerned but wisdom's here,
she's chosen well, her heart's sincere."
Sometimes there is no right or wrong,
but simply why we write our song.
We share a truth when night has come,
and in the day our race is run.
So listen not with critics ears,
and cry, protesting earthly fears.
There really is no right or wrong,
as long as beauty writes life's song.

Author Notes
The story of Martha and Mary can be a contentious one, Mary sat at Jesus' feet learning and being taught wisdom, while Martha busied herself with chores, presumably as being a good hostess, she was concerned sister Mary was goofing off. But Jesus corrected her attitude. Here is the scripture :-
Now as they went on their way, [Jesus] entered a certain village, where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the LordâÂÂs feet and listened to what he was saying. But Martha was distracted by her many tasks; so she came to him and asked, âÂÂLord, do you not care that my sister has left me to do all the work by myself? Tell her then to help me.â But the Lord answered her, âÂÂMartha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things; there is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part, which will not be taken away from her.âÂÂâ â Luke 10:38-42
