                            Dream.

        Stabbed by a venomous monotreme.

                          Scream!

Writing Prompt
Write a poem. But do so using only 11 syllables. The first line should have one syllable. The second line has 9 syllables. The third line has 1 syllable. It's the same as the 5-7-5 format but with a 1-9-1 syllable count. There are no restrictions or other rules.

Author Notes
Monotreme = egg laying mammal (like a platypus.)
Yeah, those are sort of wolfy things in the Art Work, but none of the talented contributors to FanArtReview seem to have been sufficiently inspired by platypi to paint or photograph the pesky critters.
And, yes, platypuses or platypi are venomous, having stabbing spurs on their hind legs. Extremely painful, I believe.
