It was Halloween
when I was asked to donate.
"There's a great shortage.
Give us blood. Starve a vampire."
I could not refuse.

The poem must contain the word vampire. The poem format is a Tanka. It is made up of five lines with the syllable count of 5-7-5-7-7.
