Whereon gusts of days time’s chill is borne And flow’ring maids bid blooms adieu, Life’s  stage  is  set  to  forewarn Of  coming winter’s  brew: Rich with silv’ry light,  Strong  after-taste,  Sharp zest that Shall not Die Writing Prompt Write a nonet poem. It's a simple format. A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with just one syllable.
