A golden sun begins its morning venture. A soft breeze wafts over our tent near a mirror lake wrapping us in the smell of the forest. I light a fire and lay strips of bacon in a warming pan. Lorie wakes up and joins me with a smile on her lovely face. Even though it is still hipping and hopping, I pick up a slice. It’s hot. Hold it between thumb and fingertips. We share a bite. The sweet, smoky, and salty flavor in the morning with birds chirping beginning their own search for breakfast is a true Wisconsin delight.  Writing Prompt In 100 Words or less, describe something using as many of the five senses as possible.
