I can't summon the passion of our early days only painful memories   meanwhile, torrential rain rushes through rivers, mountains, and cliffs   carrying our toxic love that binds me to the past like an addiction I can't stop   still, royal autumn reigns with glorious golden lights and crimson leaves   feelings strike like a remembrance storm of aching lightning   as thunderous sound heralds old grief entwined with dark clouds             Author Notes It's a bit melodramatic.... it's the Spanish poet in me. 😊 Thank you for reading and reviewing my poem.
