The fruit of our loins   carry forth our hopes and dreams.   Our much loved children   scale the heights, outrun the odds;   triumphing where we have failed. Writing Prompt A Tanka is related to the unrhymed haiku but does not have to be nature related. The syllable count is 5-7-5-7-7. Poetry Dances has 2 lovely examples. No politics please.
