Excellent It's amazing where some plants grow! Stretching Out by Melanie White Haiku contest entry

Between weathered slats grow tiny purple flowers: life finding its way. Author Notes I walk by a fence that seemingly has no room between the slats, but somehow little purple flowers poke out to decorate the old, graying fence. It seems impossible for them to grow there, but they don't know that. It never ceases to amaze me that life is so resilient.
