Perspectives by lyenochka

In context of Myself and I
‘Tis easy to assume one’s great
To see that others reach the sky
It’s hard objectively to rate

It’s best to rest and feel I’m blessed
For all my needs God has addressed
In humbly walking in His ways
I feel His presence in my praise*

Author Notes
Notes:
*Psalm 22:3
"But you are holy, you who inhabit the praises of Israel."

Picture was taken August 26 when we were celebrating the start of school. My oldest granddaughter used the paper straw cover to make an origami swan about a half-inch long (12 mm). To get an idea of the size, it is placed next to a glass of water.

Speaking of perspectives, we need our eyes to see. Our dear Fanstorian, Birthday-poet, Debi Marquette, has a serious eye ailment affecting her vision. Please pray with me for a full recovery of clear sight for her. Thank you!

A rispetto is written iambic tetrameter with a rhyme scheme of abab ccdd
