FUN WITH FRIENDS
I meet my my friends, we are a bunch
Our plans are made while we eat lunch
A few more months to read and write
We study hard with all our might.
Books put away. Another year done
Now it's time to have summer fun
Our backpacks used to store a snack
Jill's at my house, we'll wait for Jack.
We ride our bikes straight to the park
And journey home before it's dark
We know it's time to go home
Looking at the sky and the clock on our phone.
Summers short, it's back to school
Our studies come first
'Cause learning is cool
But after school we'll make this trip
Jackets on, closed with a zip
Our routine for fun will never break
Until we see the first snowflake.
