We've lived in this town for over 33 years, been in our church for 32, and lived in our home for 31 years, come October. Within the next few months, we'll be sorting out, giving away, throwing out, and packing our spacious house to live in a small place to 'the big city'. I have to admit... I haven't been enthusiastic about this change. It's necessary, but not really what I would choose if factors hadn't made it imperative that we do so.
But this I know... The one constant is not change. It's God's faithfulness. I know God will walk with me through change, just as He's done for all these years in this little town I've made my home.
I've been absent here lately, and that's a big part of why. I hope to read/write here a couple of times per week until we get settled and then jump back in.
