My Lord guides me and I love him He knows each step that I will take He leads me through snares that are grim And forgives each mistake I make   My heart is not my own, you see ‘Tis His, who sacrificed His Life He paid the price so I’d be free To share that heart with loving wife   The Lord’s my help, and He will lead He grants me an immortal soul So through His Grace I can be freed From sin and now He makes me whole   My will is His to shake and bend He’ll guide me thorough my life on earth And when my simple words will end He’ll show truly, my life’s true worth     Writing Prompt Write a rhyming abab cdcd etc. spiritual poem.
