I'm keeping my muse busy,
for I have so much to write.
Sometimes it makes me dizzy,
as I rhyme on through the night.
For life's my inspiration,
and of course, my family.
Each day anticipating,
all the wonders I might see.
The beauty nature gives to me,
bright sun, the moon and stars...
Lakes and rivers flowing free,
by the grace of God is ours.
This all serves to inspire,
as the words drip from my pen.
My muse fuels my desire,
to write of it now and then.
My muse knows that it's family,
with all the love they bring...
Who spark much of my poetry,
They all make my heart sing.
It's everything around me,
and all I feel inside,
that truly sets my muse free,
there's no place that he can hide.
Then all my words flow freely,
and I thank God up above,
for gifting me with poetry,
for it's truly what I love.
