I settle down behind the blocks,
my body rocks
just once and then
I hold my Zen.
Composure at the start is key.
I rise and whee!
I fly the track
keep nothing back.
One huge inhale, I will not fail.
Wind in my sail.
Head's in a spin,
I dip, and win!
The crowd applauds, my spirits soar.
Nine point five four!
World record time!
That's just sublime!
Well, I've known happiness before,
but this, much more!
First through the line,
the Gold is mine!
