I never would have imagined that we would be facing a time when voting for the next President of the United States would be both fearful and Scary.  For me, there seems to be no excitement at all to voting for either candidate.  I never would have imagined that the pickings would be so slim; so bad; so fruitless.  While Trump scares me with his level of ignorance, inability to be kind, knack for using his words to rip a person's heart out, Biden worries me with his jumbled words, and inability to remain on topic.  And then there is Kamala; I don't even know what to say about her.  Not sure where she has been all this time.  Kept asking around, but nobody seemed to know.  After listening to just a little bit of what she has to say, I'm just not convinced.  Now she's the stand in for Biden?    I never would have imagined that the pickings would be this pitiful.  What is the world coming to and what are we gonna do? Writing Prompt Write a short story/essay starting with the words, "I Never would have imagined ....." Author Notes I apologize if I've offended anyone, which is never my intention. I realize that there are many who love and adore Trump. Good for you; at least you have your candidate and feel good about it. I am not so fortunate as you, and thought I'd share. Please don't take offense.
