v   Minutes crawl   Stare at the wall   Purposely waiting   Anticipating   The most important call       Narrow surgery table   I hope he is able   To completely recover   He’s my only brother   So grant me a happy-ending fable               Recognized Author Notes I wrote this while waiting for my older brother to come out of open heart surgery. Since writing this he has come out and is recovering in the ICU. It was a successful surgery. Thanks for reading this.
