an ode, to you my love
for your beauty is contained
within not these lines,
those forrest green eyes
pierce my heart
and your freckles that line your face,
almost in a smile in it's itself
for i know these lines are cheesy,
and yet another love poem
for which i wish you were able to see
the beauty that lies within your own story,
for the one i know who is afraid of change
but is willing to pick up a pen and quill
and write it himself.
to make his own chapters and divert from fate,
for the one whom i love that
is now mine to call home,
a person in which a home is built
under construction to furnishing,
laying down the roots and foundations
to our new love
