Does life have a "meaning" in "meaningful" terms? Let's take a tin opener to that can of worms.   Sub-human creatures don't need to devine   why they should do more than extend their line.   No cerebral musings do they introduce    to the bio-imperative "let's reproduce".   But for sentient beings there has to be more.   The wish to serve Jesus lies deep in the core.   To keep His Commandments and reject mortal sin   should "mean" that the loss of life's really a win.   The purpose of this life's to set up the next.   Survival alone is a shallow pretext. Writing Prompt Write a rhyming poem of 12 lines or less that explains the meaning of life.
