Excellent It's just one of those days! Murder of a Manuscript by Begin Again 100 Word Dash writing prompt entry

The Writer's Club posted its Book of the Month nominees.   Jake, a top writer, hoped for the prestigious honor, but despite his efforts, he wasn't chosen. Frustrated, he grabbed a knife and wildly slashed his latest manuscript. From the mailman's vantage point, he saw a murder. In a panic, he called 911. Police Officers burst into Jake's home, guns drawn. Instead of a crazed maniac, they found shredded pages and a disgruntled writer. The town soon heard the tale and laughed. Jake, now known as the "Literary Lunatic," embraced his new reputation and continued writing with fervor. Maybe next month? Writing Prompt Let's take flash fiction to the extreme.
