A wizard named Alakabee,
whose mighty spells all were in verse,
met a love-sick girl wizard, Marie,
whose spells were all done in reverse.
Neither knew how the other one felt
and thought that a spell might suffice.
For love not returned made a welt,
to make a love match would be nice.
Alakabee was quite smitten,
he made up a love spell in rhyme.
The greatest he'd ever written,
in hopes wedding bells would soon chime.
His efforts though all were in vain,
Marie did the same, in reverse.
He fell out of love, it's insane,
Marie thought her spells were a curse.
All of Alak's love spells would fail,
Marie counteracted each one.
She loved Alak to no avail,
both thought future romance was done.
Then Alak came up with a plan,
another love spell, all in verse.
But this time she'd not be his fan!
It's worth a try, things can't get worse.
His spell caused Marie to disdain,
she spelled back at him in reverse.
But this time though, it was quite plain,
when they both sat down to converse...
There was a love match that was made,
but what these love birds didn't know,
as they cuddled under the shade,
spells they cast stopped working and so...
The love conjured up in their hearts,
had nothing to do with a spell.
These two wizards never would part,
a love story that ended well.
For magical, true love can be,
when two wizard souls feel the same.
In verse or reverse, can't you see?
spells unneeded when two hearts are game.
