Etheree Poem writing prompt entry

From

sunburnt

country skies

falls welcome rain.

Bush wildlife rejoice

Search for new homes again

Through black ash and cindered trees

Carrying young upon their back

The cruelty of nature can be seen

Homeless animals wander down the track
