Warning: The author has noted that this contains the highest level of violence. Today I need to let off some steam. I've decided to go hunting. I arrive at the forest. After a trek I see a deer grazing defenselessly in the clearing. I line up my rifle and take me shot. BANG! I approach the creature now lying in the grass. It's still breathing. I look; its eyes, filled with pain and resentment, reflect my image. I took out my knife and ended its misery. I am a monster to my prey; yet the stag is with me to this day. It keeps me company around the fire, its beauty what my walls desire. Writing Prompt Write a flash fiction story. But you can only use 100 words. Exactly. Title does not count in the word count.
