Missing my connecting flight, I arrived in San Diego six hours later than expected.
I checked in, found the lobby bar, and noticed a pair of dazzling green eyes, watching me. She was attractive, alone, and seductive.
Several drinks later, we left together and went to my room. When the sun rose, we parted ways, exchanging a passionate kiss.
Later that morning I arrived for my interview. I was led into the owner’s office. She turned her chair, stared at me, smiled, and said: “Well this is awkward.”
“You interviewed quite well last night, you’re hired.”
