The morning noise seemed excessive to Dad. Michael was running around looking for his schoolbag; it had been right there last night. Michelle kept coming out asking what colour ribbon to wear in her hair. Mum was getting breakfast ready and singing to the music of the radio; some tune Dad had never heard but it sounded awful. He couldn't take it anymore.   "Silence! Everybody be quiet or I will let the cat outside have you for breakfast, lunch and dinner."   You could hear a pin drop in the mouse hole as Dad went back to his morning paper. Writing Prompt Write a flash fiction story. But you can only use 100 words. Exactly. Title does not count in the word count.
