The Snowdrops by PoeticXscape

The snowdrops prefer a quiet nook.
From which to hang their heads.
Reading the cold verses from their prayer book.
To a god that holds stillness on his breath.

A parting gift from the winter sun.
A sign that things will change.
Before the spring had begun.
There are plans to arrange.

They drip from the stem.
Like the rain from the leaf.
We always welcome them.
As they bring a sweeter belief.
