I knew it was too quiet, so I went to see what my toddler was doing. Turns out that he had somehow figured out how to unhook the bungee cord that secured all the precious record albums I had saved up to buy as a teenager. He had removed them from their covers and thrown them like Frisbees. That was the last straw for me that day, and I just sat down and cried.
