The brilliant azure of the winter sky
Sun shines down through clouds so pure
Choirs lilting over my car radio
And something in me rises, peaceful, calm and sure
The world is beautiful when God is here
I just need to search for Him when storms arise
But here and now I feel Him with me
In the fresh, clean air and open skies
Spring is coming, with leaves of green
Waters of blue and rolling thunderstorms of grey
Spring is coming, and so am I
At least the me I haven't met today
I know she's coming, she's not so far
It's still winter and it will be hard
But each new day, I'll keep moving
Toward the girl I want to be
