Three naughty boys tore through the schoolyard, oblivious to their impending doom.  As they rushed around a corner, they collided with their portly school principal. Usually the epitome of dignity, the principal was flustered.  He struggled to his feet and brushed himself down. “GENTLEMEN!  You’ve already been caught smoking in the bushes, and now this!  Have you learnt NOTHING about appropriate behaviour?” The principal paused for breath – and then yelped in fright as his smouldering trouser pocket caught fire … Writing Prompt Write a complete story in 80 words or less. The theme is 'Surprise.' You may incorporate this theme into the story any way you wish, but it must somehow relate to the topic. Author Notes Luckily, this is a work of fiction. :)
