Judy's husband, Tom, had gone deep sea fishing three months ago and never returned.   The back door creaked open. A gust of wind whipped in. There he stood, with a sheepish grin on his doleful face. He held out a hand, and said, “I’m sorry, I thought I loved her and she loved me.” Judy’s face turned a fiery red.   She backed away and said, “I’m sorry too, but you are not welcome. My high school sweetheart has moved in." Writing Prompt Write a complete story in 80 words or less. The theme is 'Surprise.'
