Waves of unpredictability, crash onto the shoreline Shoreline sand drowns below from the wild tide, Tide greets the rock, determined to obliterate it It doesn't budge, for the rock stands its ground, Ground firm in roots, firm in morals   Morals fortify it, and the tide recedes, Recedes to the vast, capricious moana of life, Life lunging at the sand and rock relentlessly. Relentlessly, the rock holds fast, whilst the sand weeps Weeps, heard by the cerulean jay, soaring high. Recognized Author Notes The sand represents the vast majority of people, who, when encountering fierce waves of life, will crumble. However, the select few that strive to overcome even the most difficult of challenges, will hold fast, just like a rock, even in times of despondency. I hope you liked my poem!
