I know not why,  nor know not how  the Reason for the Season became a Frog on a Log  or an Elf on the Shelf,  but it has, hasn't it?   Writing Prompt Write a poem on any topic and in any format. But it must have 34 syllables total. No more, no less. Recognized Author Notes This is an adaptation of a w.i.p. (work in progress) that found where I could use a part of the whole. Disturbing, but widely accepted is CHRISTmas seems to have become more annoying to non-believers. The picture is my own snapped of a rendering hanging in our loo.
