Like a ship at her command
In the tempest it will stand
Winds are howling in the storm
In her house it's safe and warm
Like a maiden of the mist
On the edge of an abyss
Sea is treacherous and deep
In the house the children sleep
Like the house so very strong
In the winters cold and long
Storms will come and they will go
In her wisdom she will know
Ever watchful at the door
Waves are crashing on the shore
All around the seagulls call
And her house it will not fall
