So compelling are times in which we live This  curious  curse seems made for days like these. Useless are guidelines we attempt to give. Values we once held priceless can’t appease. Warnings of the past are happening fast. Recognized Author Notes "May you live in interested times" was rumored to be a Chinese curse but its origin isn't Chinese. It sounds like a blessing, but it is actually a curse. When the world seems on the brink of collapse, things certainly get our attention. It is times like these in which we live. Guidelines aren't followed, and values are tossed aside.
