Just let us find a leader with true grit
Instead of the one in charge, a total twit
Hankering for attention certainly, he 'hath'
By leading us up the garden path
Unlike others gone before
This man is a total bore
A leader should be strong in his or her own way
It does not seem to be the fashion today
As long as we are important, we have stance, you see
or fail in the twenty-first century
Unlike leaders gone before
respecting him is a bore
Others will our patience try
But win merit points by and by
At times, we may disagree
Actions impress you and me
Unlike leaders gone before
He remains a total bore
To be fair some people would not try
To lead dust mites which displeases the eye
Nor am I a follower unless necessity
Is the only option to set us free
who am I to grumble as I hesitate
to consume the humble pie on my plate
then I hear his voice again like a dripping tap
it pierces the brain when I need a nap
don't you dare tell me I must comply
with the rules that make one's heart go dry
I say it again like I did before
