I inherited the family business
when mother died last year
but it isn't doing half as well
as it did when she was here.
I fear I'll have to close it down
It seems too hard to save
but if my mother knew this
she'd be turning in her grave.
I've hardly any customers left,
only three or four.
When she was alive it was busy
there was always fifty or more.
I really don't know what to do
I can't afford to eat
and to make things worse
they've opened another brothel
down the street.
