I had cancer in 1997. The doctors did surgery on me. I went through chemotherapy for six months. I never knew about it before I had it, but it was there. My parents were concerned about my life. Once I left the hospital, my parents told me I had cancer. I didn't know what to think, but sure glad they kept it a secret from me during that time I was examined.   The doctors told me the good news that I no longer have cancer. I was thrilled. But they still need to check my health because you nver know if it could return. I beat cancer this time. It was the time of my life. I go through check ups with my doctors, if it ever comes up. Now they are ready if it comes. But, I am happy I got cured. Writing Prompt Write a short story. The topic is: The best time you ever had in your life. It can be as an adult or as a child. Please keep it clean. Minimum length 100 words. Maximum Length 4,000 words.
