"An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge."
Proverbs 18:15
Seasons of Faith - IV
Oh, to unburden the mind of every mundane thought.
Deleting the “I would”, “they should”, “he could”, and “I ought”,
it still seems infinitely infeasible to acquire,
the volumes of knowledge with an impulsive desire.
I think, perhaps, it might be best to follow one's heart.
We are, you see, fully intelligent from the start,
Hidden in the depths of every heart, fashioned by God,
holds all knowledge that He intended us to unfold.
Be silent! It is said, "Use ears to hear, eyes to see."
Then, might it be that therein lies the great mystery,
To hear the words of old spoken by the wise, that is sought,
for God's knowledge to be acquired, silence must be taught.
I sit In reflection, remembering it is the heart
that fuels the body and has, from the very start,
made it possible for mind to hold an infinite space.
But, I think it is the soul containing all of God's Grace.
