In the quiet of evening, shadows of another time creep eerily across the horizon like ghosts of a bygone era. . I hear hollow voices of the past echoing like souls lost in limbo. . When did I lose  that vital connection with those whose love was once there for the taking? . Is this secluded isolation  the penalty I pay for pursuit of dreams which fled my greedy clutch? . When did those yet vibrant years evaporate, taking with them hope of redemption? . Time denies reprieve from this empty shell.
